Attorneymom's Prayer: Father God, grant us the wisdom that we need to successfully complete your purpose for our lives. Deliver us from all ignorance and hardness of the heart and mind. For we acknowledge that both ignorance and hardness are barriers to growth and success.

I agree wisdom comes from God. I have known many educated fools in my life. An education has nothing to do with common sense or wisdom that makes positive change in life, especially when we are dealing with His purpose for our lives. You can use education for wrong as well as right. Only God can dicipher the difference for us.
I agree, Pam. Common sense and wisdom are so important to our quality of life. I consider common sense to be the ability to apply wisdom to your every day life. It took me 39 years to learn this lesson the hard way. I pray that my children will flow in wisdom and common sense all the days of their lives starting now.

Raising them in His word-anointing them and speaking His promises out to them will create a light from you for them to follow your ways to HIm.
Tell them Whose they are so they will speak life and not death from their mouths. Start with a short prayer from Deut. 28.
