Yay! I am without perm since January, myself!! It's not as bad as I thought it was going to be...well with the exception of those dang humid days. LOL
I've heard it's easier to go natural when you cut all your hair and start from scratch. However, I'm a scary cat so I'll keep my hair for now. ( nothing like a pinup/ponytail to hide the madness!!)

LOL. Love your natural look. Everyone can't pull it off. I have natually curly locks and I call my hair nappy. White ppl back in the day use to say my hair was just "tangled". I am nappy by nature. If it hurts when you comb it, it is "nappy". My daughters don't know what the saying "tender headed is". Anna didn't play that. I may not have whipped my kids while they were growing up but I learned from my granny how to hit the knuckles with the brush/comb while planting hair. I miss my granny. She would do the press and curl or the water and grease on my hair when I was young. I knew not to touch or complain. Granny Knows Best!
