JANET JACKSON AND JOE JACKSON AT 2009 BET AWARDS
Janet Jackson is so strong. Hat tip to her for being able to stand during her speech. Now, as for Joe Jackson, I am about to put him on my "Sit Your Azz Down" list. D***, Michael ain't even in the grave yet and he is talking about his record label.

My cousin broght the Joe Jackson interview to my attentionand when I saw it i was like is his age getting to him?!! And how is he gonna plug his record label!
I honestly thought him and Katherine were divorced....
But yes, she definitely has had her hands full putting up with him.

It's been a while since I posted here on your blog. I was just reading SR and I couldn't stomach her posts about her hate for MJ anymore. Since his death, many have tried to come to terms with this, including myself and with posts of negativity towards Michael, his family and the world of fans MJ has generated over the years, I couldn't take it. I understand Mimi's reaction, I don't condone how hard she came at SR, but I understand....Janet did the best she could under the circumstances and I just cried like a baby all night, feeling the pain that everyone around the world is experiencing now and this I think is the toughest that we all are going to have to get through, I just rest my hopes in the Comforter and that He will reveal to me that too shall pass, cause this hurts so much. I know Janet was hurting but he was like family to us, esp those that grew up in that era of the J5, that group brought good times when this nation and the world was in bad and uncertain times, ie civil rights movement, Vietnam war, recession and global unrest. I'm 4and blessed to have been born to live through this and grow with a family that had the American Dream.
Sidebar: The BET Awards last night was disappointing, I told my mother before the show I normally don't watch Black Exploitation TV because of what I witnessed as the finale of the show with Lil Wayne, Drake and the rest of the chickenheads on stage. That was downright insulting to the MJ, the Jackson family and the world at large. I will be emailing Debora Lee, the CEO and let her know my sentiments and I invite anyone else that holds the black community and it's potential in high esteem to do the same.

Mike paid "yes" fools to be around him. Like it has been reported, Mike will fire you if you did not do what he told you to do. He would even alienate his family if they did the same. He thought his money and talent earned him the right to do so. This is why he has knuckle heads hanging around him. I can’t continue to cry for a man who was given opportunities that most people will never see in their life time. But his self hatred, stubbornness and his fixation on the post destroyed him. I only feel sorry for Katherine. I do not feel sorry for the children because now they are free from the insanity, the veils and masks.
