Watch your thoughts, for they become words. Watch your words, for they become actions.Watch your actions, for they become habits.Watch your habits, for they become character.Watch your character, for it becomes your destiny.”
Eagles are not meant to fly with pigeons and chickens because their flying altitude is too low. Today, I take my rightful place as an Eagle and am leaving the pigeons and chickens behind. I apologize to God and myself for acting like a pigeon and chicken when I was born to be an Eagle. Selah.

HIP-HOP VS. CHRISTIAN RAP

Youtube Blogger PRDirector1 writes:
EX Ministries discuss the truth concerning their stance against Hip-hop (holy) Vs Christian Rap. It was nearly 18 years ago when the Body of Christ was warned about this demonic sub-cultural movement and its influences. The Church was then told to keep it out of our worship services, off the altars and youth groups but many of our leaders refused to listen. Rappers can in and blurred the lines between Hip-hop and Rap and took a position along side Hip-hop and called it 'holy". Many of our churches have been transformed into 'christian' clubs, concert halls and self-worship centers to catered to the wants of this generation and not what God says concerning their needs. TODAY, Hip-hop has been responsible for more sex, ungodliness and confusion among our youth in the Church than ever before. Just because some rappers refused to submit to God and die to Hip-hop. There's now a myraid of gospel gangstas, holy pimps, swagger saints and jesus goons hiphoping our youth straight to hell while we sit and be entertained.

I didn't watch the videos posted.

Maybe I should have but I saw no point, seeing as how I am not a fan of Christian Rap. But I do love hip hop, gangsta rap, R&B, soft soul, pop and other genres of music which hardly do anything for me, either, in a spiritual sense.

Yet I continue to listen and partake into such emotions and feelings which I wouldn't necessarily say "provoke" demonic behavior ... although I can admit how certain songs themselves tap into the mentality which, for whatever reason, were already present.

I said that to say - as far as self-destructive behavior, it's much more deeper than both Christian Rap and/or Hip Hop music.

In no way can a mere song drive any human being off the cliff. Unless that particular person was already living close to the edge itself.

If anyone thinks hip hop music is the cause or Christian Rap is the answer to why so many children have gone astray, they are sadly mistaken.

Didn't see the video....holy hip hop vs. christian rap....?? idk whats the difference? the actual rapping??

well its interesting how Christians constantly take "worldly" songs and "change the meaning" (not the words) and automatically their song is appropriate and anointed from God. LOL Yeah...right.

It's not just rap though, it's Christian music period that I've noticed don't even mention God in the songs anymore. Shoot the more I think about it.. my spirit has been moved by some R&B more than some Christian music. Still I don't buy the idea that God cannot use a rapper to get his message across. I've heard both moving and trashy gospel rap. I don't necessary dig it, but some might.

I'm more concerned about the folk in church who talk one thing and live another ....they're the ones leading our youth straight to hell. They're the ones condemning these kids and making them feel less than acceptable to God, all the while living the same or worst lives. But yet we expect folk to be delivered. Sigh.

The videos explains how Hip Hop became a religion (a way of life).

Some people are very strong minded and can't be influenced by music. But our youth are not as strong as some of us. I am mainly posting these videos for parents to be aware of how satan is using rap music. You can attest that the rap music of today is much different then the rap that you and I grew up on.

@Misrook, this why it is goof to view the videos to get the full meaning of the videos. The speakers are no saying that people can't rap. They are explaining how Hip Hop became a religion.

I concur that Contemporary Gospel Music is a sham. It is all about the dollar bill and the bling.
