She said while the incident shook her she is going to hold her head high and fight. She continued on by saying we live in a multi-cultural society and thus need to do the work of truly understanding various viewpoints. <BR/><BR/>These are the people that I add to my inspiration list [with my kin and others]! Without people like Prof. Constantine I would not be on my way to fulfilling my goal of being a professor.<BR/> <BR/>Small sidebar-Braids were what she had-a decade or so ago if you were a professor or corporate sister braids were a no no. On one hand, there could just be some idiots are there playing jokes, but on the other hand, I wonder if the people hanging the nooses (more than likely non-Blacks) don't realize the hate nooses symbolize. I've gotten the feeling since the Jena incident that Whites don't think hanging nooses are a big deal, that we shouldn't get mad about it.<BR/><BR/>I think they're cowards too: of course they're not going to do anything with the noose, OR CATCH A BEATDOWN! LOL<BR/><BR/>Call me naive, but I didn't think there were too many people still alive that even knew how to tie nooses anymore.
